Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I'd like to congratulate Sue O'Hara, who this month retired after 25 years of dedicated service with the NSW Police Force. Sue began her career as a civilian staff member in 2000 and has worked in various administrative roles across police stations in Waratah, Newcastle, Maitland and Lake Macquarie. While her work took place behind the scenes, Sue played an essential role in supporting frontline officers and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. Her contribution has been a vital part of the success and strength of our local police districts. To celebrate her retirement, Lake Macquarie Police District held a special ceremony at Belmont Police Station, which featured a Guard of Honour. It was a heartfelt and fitting tribute to someone who has given so much to her community over the years. Thank you, Sue, for your remarkable service and dedication. Your commitment, reliability and care have left a lasting impression, and your work has made a real difference to those around you. On behalf of our community, I wish you all the very best for the future. Your legacy is one to be proud of.
