Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I would like to congratulate Mia Marshall, a student of Warners Bay High School, on her inclusion in the First Class 25 exhibition at the Museum of Art and Culture, yapang. This exhibition celebrates the outstanding achievements of the 2025 HSC Visual Arts cohort and highlights the creativity and talent of young people across our region. Mia's artwork, Ulcerated Landscapes, is a deeply personal work that reflects her dedication and courage in sharing her lived experience. Through a layered combination of materials including acrylic, resin, texture paste and ink, Mia explores the physical and emotional complexities of living with Ulcerative Colitis, capturing themes of pain, isolation, endurance and resilience. Being selected for this prestigious exhibition is a significant achievement and a testament to Mia's hard work, creativity and commitment throughout her HSC studies. Her success highlights the strong artistic talent emerging from Warners Bay High School and serves as an inspiration to others. I congratulate Mia on this outstanding accomplishment and wish her every success in her future endeavours.
