Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I would like to congratulate Maya Thornton, a student of Warners Bay High School, on her inclusion in the First Class 25 exhibition at the Museum of Art and Culture, yapang. This exhibition showcases the outstanding achievements of the 2025 HSC Visual Arts cohort and celebrates the creativity and talent of young people across our region. Maya's artwork, Florescence, created using Prismacolor pencils on paper, reflects her dedication and thoughtful approach to her artmaking. Her work explores themes of femininity, personal identity and the complexity of womanhood, while also capturing a sense of connection and tenderness. Being selected for this prestigious exhibition is a significant accomplishment and a testament to Maya's hard work, creativity and commitment throughout her HSC studies. Her achievement highlights the strong artistic talent emerging from Warners Bay High School. I congratulate Maya on this wonderful accomplishment and wish her every success in her future endeavours.
