Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I would like to recognise Addison Skinner, a student of St Mary's Catholic College, for her outstanding artistic achievement and inclusion in the First Class 25 exhibition at the Museum of Art and Culture, yapang. This prestigious exhibition showcases the exceptional creative works of the 2025 HSC Visual Arts cohort, providing a platform for young people to express their perspectives with insight, confidence and originality. Addison's work, Burdened Veil, is a powerful and deeply personal piece that explores her experience with anxiety throughout her high school years. Using materials including yarn, caution tape and LED lights, Addison conveys the emotional weight and complexity of anxiety, as well as the resilience required to push through difficult moments. Her work reflects both vulnerability and strength, capturing the feeling of being overwhelmed while also symbolising growth and transformation. Through her art, Addison gives voice to an experience shared by many young people, contributing to important conversations around mental health. Her inclusion in this exhibition is a testament to her creativity, courage and talent. I congratulate Addison on this remarkable achievement and wish her every success in the next chapter of her journey.
